25th GA SSMO Concept Note (English)

Theme: “One Africa One Market – The Role of Quality Infrastructure and Standardization in Facilitating Trade and sustainable Development within the African Continental Free Trade Area”

The 25th ARSO General Assembly events, to be hosted by the Government of the Republic of Sudan, through the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization will be held on 17th – 21st June 2019 at the Corinthia Hotel Khartoum, in Sudan

The events will comprise:

• 60th ARSO Council meeting – 17th June 2019 (ARSO Council Members only>
• ARSO Standardization Training on “Role of Quality Infrastructure within a Free Trade Area” - 18th June 2018. (ARSO Members, Experts and Resource persons).
• One day forum for the Africa Day of Standardization and Opening of the 25th ARSO General Assembly – 19th June 2019 (ARSO Members, Stakeholders and Industry Stakeholders)
• One day Meeting for the 25th ARSO General Assembly – 20st June 2019 (ARSO Members, Stakeholders and Industry Stakeholders )
• Industrial visits and other related social events organized by the Host – 21st June 2019 (ARSO Members and other delegates).
